Yes, talk to us if you need assistance.
Children and young people who have multiple issues may be able to claim up to 5 visits through the Enhanced Primary Care or Medicare Plus Programme. This requires GP referral. Fees may also be claimed through a private health fund.
You can discuss whether this service provision option is suitable for you with your current OT. If you are new to RiverRun PTS, an OT will complete any initial assessment of your child and family’s needs and make a plan with you from there.
We provide therapy for children as young as 2 through to 18.
You don’t need a GP/specialist referral to see any of our therapists.
However, your GP may determine you are eligible for an Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC)/Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDM) or ATSI plan. The EPC/CDM is often utilised for Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology in our practice.
These plans offer a Medicare rebate for a reduced fee for appointments for a specified number of appointments.
Simply complete the contact form our website or email directly to info@riverrunpts.com.au. A member of our team will contact you.
If you have any existing reports from health professionals, educators, carers etc. We also recommend your child wears play clothes and closed in shoes.

- DASH and DASH 17+ for handwriting skills
- SSIS for social skills
- BOT2 for motor skills
