Music Therapy

Everyone has music flowing within them. Music therapy can be a fun, creative and playful way to move towards therapy goals, particularly for those who love and are drawn to music.

Group Sessions

Group sessions open a world of learning possibility. Whether we’re developing group skills, or using a group space to learn, we provide an environment where children, young people, and their caregivers enjoy a feeling of belonging and learning through shared experiences with others.

RiverRun is For Everyone

Children, Young People and Families

We guide children and young people as well as their families and the communities in which they thrive, to brave the rapids and flow in the direction they choose to achieve the best outcome for each individual. RiverRun PTS can help with developmental challenges such as motor, sensory, social and self-care skills. These assist in adjusting to ongoing community life.

Educators and Schools

The ebb and flow of transitioning through the educational journey comes with its successes and challenges. We offer pre-school, primary and secondary school programs to enable children and young people to grow.

We also offer Professional Development workshops for educators to broaden their understanding and skills, bringing them into the RiverRun extended OT family.

Allied Health Professionals

RiverRun facilitates educational workshops for allied health professionals seeking ways to help their own children and young people navigate the twists and turns of their occupational therapy journey. We offer specific workshops for professionals whether new to the industry or experienced clinicians expanding their offering in their own practices.

Calling All Graduates

Let us travel alongside you through our New Graduate Program to hone and develop your skills in a supportive and flexible environment, ensuring you become the best therapist you can be. We can help you love the work you do from the ‘get-go’ with a team that celebrates and nurtures not just the clinician, but the person.

Connection to Country

We recognise and celebrate the continuing connection to lands, waters and communities of the Taungurung, Dja Dja Wurrung, and Wurundjeri people, who’s children and families lived and played here before us. We pay respect to them and their elders, past, present and future. We support the continuation of culture and language on the indigenous land where we reside.

Sharing Similarities and Appreciating Differences

We provide safe spaces where children, young people, caregivers, educators and our team can express cultural, gender and sexual diversity, in a neuro-affirming way. Through diversity and innovation in approach and methods, we create comfortable environments to belong, which are connected and respectful within our therapeutic supports and our workplace.
