An assessment with RiverRun PTS is a holistic process where we get to know your child not just according to formal standardised assessments but through actually getting to know them, their family and their environment. This enables us to best direct our services to help your child be the best them.
Some of the formal standardised assessments we use include:
- DASH and DASH 17+ for handwriting skills
- SSIS for social skills
- BOT2 for motor skills
- Sensory Processing Measure (SPM)
- TVPS for visual processing skills
At the end of the assessment process (which usually takes 3 one hour sessions), feedback will be given in a face-to-face meeting with the option of a brief written summary. More detailed written reports can be provided as an additional service to assist in a submission for funding, special consideration or other reasons.
